Well, the year is winding down and the plans begin for the programs for the school children this fall and next summer's celebrations.
A little recapping and then we'll move on. May 25 - 26 — It was Memorial Day Weekend. This was where we put the last pieces of the Pow Wow puzzle together and made up the work rosters. Want to volunteer for next year? (Click) June 28th and 29th. Tag, Bake, and Book sale: It could have been better without the rain. The stalwart ones had a good time. July 26 & 27 -We held our 11th Native American Craft Show – and then... July 28th to Aug 1st We sponsored the first Abenaki Spiritual Week at the Clan - and then...
August 2 & 3 — We had our 17th Pow Wow

Now, let's get moving and get ready for fall: September 1 — Labor Day… Let's sit down, chat, review the year's accomplishments so far, but also discuss ways we can make our clan a better one. Bring your points of view and also your favorite food to share for the end of summer Pot Luck supper. Bring a native friend to join the clan.
September 21 — It's the Fall Equinox – It’s time to reflect on the change of seasons, prepare for winter and keep friendship ties alive and strong. Our first fall Pot Luck supper- bring on your best casserole, dessert or salad. Time to put the picnic basket away and bake cookies or dinner rolls.
October 12 — Native American Day — We'll be gathering at the Chief’s house to remember our origins. Bring stories of your ancestors. We'll share those and of cours, another Pot Luck!
December 21 — Winter Solstice— We will gather for a few happy hours and discuss this past year as well as the future. Last Pot Luck of the year. Make it festive. Time and place TBA.
