There are many other sites on the internet designed to help you learn more about the Native American Peoples, their cultures, crafts, belief systems, and histories. We will review and add some as we find them. We will update this page as often as we can. If you have a site you think we should link to, please contact Chief Lone Cloud at etpvt@aol.com | Just don't forget to come back to Clan of The Hawk. We'll miss you while you are surfing the web. | http://www.native-languages.org/vermont.htm This is a great site for browsing when you have a lot of time. It has some basic information, especially about the Native Americans of the Northeast, and Vermont in particular. You may find some of this information a tiny bit out of date, but the basic information is sound and a nice place to have older students - say, fifth grade or higher - do some research about these topics. On this page you can connect to other Vermont Tribes: Cowasuck Traditional Band Council of the Abenaki Nation in Randoph VT Nulhegan Band of the Coosuk-Abenaki People of Derby Line, VT St. Francis/Sokoki band of the Abenaki Nation of Swanton, VT
